Tomorrow (Tuesday, August 30) I'm joining a panel of "local social media superstars" for an event called "Social Media: Get Your Voice Heard. Expand Your Reach." Hosted by Young Professionals For David Howard, the event takes place 6:30-8 p.m. at Bluprint Restaurant, 227 West Trade Street (in the Carillon building, adjacent to Morton's Steakhouse).

The fact that I just ended my three-year holdout from Twitter last week probably makes me a little bit of an outcast from the other panelists, but I'd like to think I can offer some keen insight, particularly when it comes to blogging. I was honored to accept their invitation to participate. Here's the event's description:

Come out to learn new ways social media can improve your career, life, advocacy, and community. Get the inside scoop on strategy and tips straight from local social media superstars.
