Cosmos Cafe opens a new location today in Ballantyne. If it becomes half as popular as the Uptown location has been for the past several years then it will be a success. Many people go to Cosmos for the great food, but even more--the late-night crowd--go for the drinks and music. This will be a great option for the Ballantyne crowd, who don't currently have many late-night spots in their posh neighborhood.
The new Cosmos is located inside The Village at Robinson Farm, a new development of restaurants, retail, and office space in Ballantyne. Cosmos is one of the first tenants, located at 8420 Rea Road. The hours are: Mon.-Fri., 4 p.m.-2 a.m.; Sat., 10:30 a.m.-2 a.m.; Sun., 10:30 a.m.-1 a.m. Unlike the Uptown location, this one isn't opened for lunch during the week, but that might change once more tenants are filled in around it.
